Before choosing a window tint product, you need to understand some key knowledge to make an informed decision. What exactly are optics, ultra-high definition, high infrared protection, and high ultraviolet protection? Let’s first demystify these concepts.
You often hear about a 99% heat insulation rate. But what does it really mean? In fact, there is no window tint product that can truly achieve 99% heat insulation. With the current technological level, this is impossible to achieve globally. The so-called “99% heat insulation” actually means that the infrared (IR) absorption rate reaches 99%, not heat insulation in the literal sense. Most products on the market usually only achieve 99% protection at 940 nanometers and 1400 nanometers. This can be achieved simply by adding a large amount of IR absorbers, and it does not provide effective protection for the entire solar spectrum.
Generally speaking, the higher the light transmittance of a window tint, the lower the blocking rate of the entire solar spectrum. For a product with a light transmittance of 70%, if its protection rate for the entire solar spectrum can reach over 40%, it can be considered of good quality. If it can be maintained above 50%, it is extremely excellent. If it exceeds 60%, it can be regarded as the top performance achievable on the current market. At present, it is impossible to achieve an entire solar spectrum blocking rate higher than 70% with any technology.

This is because the mainstream method of UV protection at present is to add UV absorbers, and overusing this method has obvious drawbacks. Therefore, after careful consideration, we precisely control the UV protection efficiency to 98% – 99%. By adding activators and stabilizers, we effectively slow down the attenuation rate. At the same time, we skillfully use the nitriding principle to add titanium particles, significantly improving the clarity.
In terms of heat insulation performance, we have also achieved remarkable results. Through technological breakthroughs, we have achieved an infrared band blocking rate of over 40% – 60%, creating a cool and comfortable environment for users.
Our products are reliable and accurate in performance, with no false claims. For the Front Window G+ series and M series, the average full-spectrum heat insulation can reach over 48% – 55%. The ZS series is even more outstanding, achieving a full-spectrum heat insulation rate of 60% – 69%, which can be regarded as a truly conscientious choice in the industry.
